We are the only school in Rancho Bernardo that offers top brand baby grand pianos and other demo instruments that cost tens of thousands of dollars. Your ear can have a chance to be trained to inhabit the world class sound quality which is crucial to understand and appreciate classical music.

6. The Sound of Hope International Music Festival in conjunction with Hope Music Foundation.

Hope School of Music is the host of the none profit event of SOHIMF in conjunction of Hope Music Foundation. Cash awards and medals are given to the participants to encourage their music learning and performances. It is a great showcase and encouragement for kids to play music. It levels in a full scale, therefore it not only give the encouragement to the beginners but also promotes the talent truly represented the San Diego’s highest music performance standard.

8. Music Teacher Association California merit certificate test prep available.

We provide the preparation for the students to take and pass the MTAC merit certificate test based on the students’ progress.

10. Student Membership

We are the only music school in San Diego that offers students’ membership to have free transfer to lessons of a different instrument, free tutor, or free registration for a returning student. It offers student discount on music books, instruments and accessories as well.
11. Early morning and lunch time lessons for home schoolers, retirees, college students and working professionals.

We offer lessons as early as 10:00 a.m. and we see many students between the hours of 11 a.m.-2 p.m. If you are a home school parent, retiree, college student or working professional who has a flexible schedule, take advantage of our early morning and lunch time lesson spots.

Due to its central location, our school is convenient to all areas of Rancho Bernardo, Rancho Penasquidos, Carmel Valley, Poway and Escondido. Close to our school, you will find great shopping, dining and the quaint neighborhood village of 4S Commons.
13. Month to Month lessons.

The school does not require semester minimums for lessons. Every student here is on a month-to-month basis.

If you are ready to start, you have nothing to lose as we only enjoy teaching students who truly want to be here and we will not commit you to a long term contract.

14. Group lessons are available to strengthen and maximize the results of private lesson.

We are using the group lesson method to provide sharing, interaction, peer models, team works, social, friendship for your kids’ music growth. These are the benefits that private lessons are unreachable.
