The Hope School of Music holds a commitment to ensuring joy and spiritual enrichment that music provides and promotes life experiences for growth within each music student. We believe that the cultivation of LOVE and righteousness leads to greater success in learning music. Our teaching philosophy incorporates the belief that knowledge can be achieved through music rather than by utilizing a more passive approach.
The Hope School of Music builds a platform that integrates the music teachers’ teaching credentials and the community's current musical offerings to achieve the best outcome in music education. Director Mr Xuefeng Stanley Wang’s love of children’s music education is encompassed in his own words: “I am a dedicated musician and teacher. The purpose of this school is to provide all children the same excellent music instruction that I provide for my own daughter.” The school has already guided hundreds of children into the music world.
Many of our students graduated from the Hope School of Music and progressed through college educations and professional careers enriched and accompanied with the love of music. Some have been the top prize winners of major international music competitions and festivals including the 4th Hong Kong International Music Festival that involved forty thousand participants from around the world, the New York Music Protégé Competition, as well as several others. The Hope School of Music remains a leader in contributing to music education and allowing it to thrive in San Diego, California.
