Mr. Greg Eden
Mr. Greg Eden has been playing guitar for over 35 years and was Professor of Guitar at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska for 8 years. He holds a Master’s Degree in Guitar Performance/Pedagogy from the Peabody Institute in Baltimore, Maryland where he studied with Julian Gray. At Peabody, Greg was a graduate assistant and 2002 recipient of the Peabody Grant which allowed him to travel to Florida to study with some of Classical Guitar’s greatest teachers including Eduardo Fernandez and Paul Galbraith.
Teaching guitar for over 17 years, Greg has had several students go on to attend prestigious music schools including Berklee College of Music in Boston, The San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Columbia University in New York City, and McGill University in Montreal. Greg has conducted master classes and performed in numerous recitals and competitions throughout the country.
Greg has also performed with the Omaha Symphony on several occasions during the 2013-2015 seasons in their Masterworks and Pops series; recently sharing the stage with the legendary Neil Sedaka.
